The Robot overlords are Almost Here!

I picked this up off of a Wired blog called Gageteer

Looks like NASA and DARPA - my two favorite agencies - have teamed up to create the Robonaut, that will aid and/or replace humans during EVAs. On the NASA/JSC site there is a mound of data relating to the latest test procedures as well as breakdowns of all of the subsystems.

They haven't reached overlord status yet......but soon....
